Westways Carriage Horses is a family run business based in Woburn, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. David West and his family have a lifetime of experience working with carriage horses and provide them for all manner of horse-drawn occasions throughout the UK. Maintaining family values and welfare at the core of the business, and we pride ourselves not only on our horses and their welfare but maintaining our carriages to the highest quality, while respecting and preserving the individual history of each vehicle.
Our stables are located on the Woburn Estate, the home of His and Her Grace The Duke and Duchess of
Bedford, approximately 90 minutes from central London with access to drive on to Europe’s largest privately owned 3,000 acre deer park with its nine different species of deer and other wildlife.
We offer carriage driving experiences with singles, pairs, tandems, and teams of horses, or join us on the St David Road Coach and team of four seasoned horses for a Celebration carriage ride with family and friends through the deer park and surrounding area stopping for a picnic or lunch at a local hostelry
